Train Poem
There
are Go Via and even Amtrak trains
Which even travels when it rains
Also there are places you’ve never been
P.J. Barnes is
a good guy that you have ever seen
Of course stray dogs go to the pound
Also one type
of dog is a hound
Of course
hounds are used for hunting
Not like how people talk by grunting
Streetcars
cost a lot of money
Not like how you can eat honey
Also some television shows are funny
Even when the weather is sunny
Also many days are good
Even if you’re chopping wood
Of course wood is used for fire
Not like finding a person to hire
It’s not often two trains pass a crossing
Not like how people take turns tossing
In a building you stand on a floor
Not like how you go through a door
Also the elevators move up and down
Not like how you where a frown
A king always wears a crown
Though he doesn’t go to town
A clock always tells the time
Not like how you pay a dime
Also a hobo rides on a freight
Different than sitting on a crate
A superhero wears a cape
Not like how you use Scotch tape
Of course at night you always sleep
Also always look before you leap

Railway tracks criss cross at some
spots
Not like how you cook food in pots
At a train station you catch a train
Even if it is pouring rain
One cloud is shaped like a funnel
Also a subway goes through a tunnel
It does come out at some places
Also cars park in parking spaces
Everyone eats food for their dinner
Some get fatter but none get thinner
There are both wasps and birds nests
Different than bugs you call pests
Books are always good to read
Its good to help a friend in need
Many roller coasters go upside down
Not like a woman who wears a gown
The chipmunks and chipettes are tune
kids
Not like auctions where people give bids
There are people with dogs and cats
Flying mammals are called bats
You pay bills at a bank
Which is not like how you rank
You always write with a pencil or pen
Of course women are different than men
"Pinocchio" is a good movie
show
Red means stop and green means go
Many vehicles are seen on the road
All moving faster than a toad
Its good to be in a circus tent
Which is different than paying your rent
When living in an apartment or a house
It is much different than catching a mouse
Some people cancel their yard sales
Which is not like when it hails
The Andy Griffith show is good to see
Not like things you get for free
There are double showcase winners on The Price is Right
Not like how you get in a fight
Getting your passport is good
But its just not like chopping wood
Many movies have road chases
Not like carrying guitars in cases
In baseball the players load the bases
Not like wearing smiling faces
When wearing shoes you tie the laces
Not like when you win races
Different then when a person paces
Or even when you wear braces
Its not good to fall down a hole
Very different than looking at a totem pole
Also its good to play video games
Not like firefighters battling flames
Also its good to get mail
Not like the weather when you see hail
Firemen fight fires by using their hoses
Not like how people blow their noses
Elevators move up and down
Much different then going to town
Small kids are afraid of lightening and thunder
One famous singer is Stevie Wonder
Some mother dogs give birth on stormy nights
Of course museum exibits are good sights
Of course many stormy nights are wild
Even if you are a child
There are a lot of stormy days
and nights
Which is not like flying kites
Puppet masters do puppet shows
Which is not like when it snows
Of course trains are good to see
Though only hobos ride for free
Also only animals are seen in cages
Which is much different than your wages
A lot of people take VIA trains
Even on days that it rains
It is good to travel by rail
Even in snow,rain,or hail
Of course you are what you eat
You always stand on your feet
Of course anyone takes a bath
Which is much different than doing math
In the winter you see snow
Different than moving fast or slow
Boys and girls scream on stormy nights
Not like when you know your rights
Loud thunder even scares cats and dogs
Not like the glow of burning logs
Its good to take a nice long drive
Not like bees in a beehive
You always board a plane at an airport
Not like how you go to court
A motor home is like a home on wheels
Not like how a person feels
A motor home is also called a camper
Not like putting clothes in a hamper
Its not good driving with a flat tire
Which is much different than fighting a fire
